Anyways, marriage is epic, and I believe that anniversaries are great days to celebrate marriage in a special way! We usually keep things fairly low-key (but fun!) on our anniversary, and this year was no different.

As I mentioned a while back, we played a lot of Civilization V together in the first several weeks of postpartum. We really enjoy that game, and Jacob wanted to play it together on our anniversary. So, Civ V party it was! Since the game is all about different civilizations creating cultures and empires, I figured that we could have a couple types of food which related to different cultures.
I think this may be one of my favorite non- chocolate desserty recipes now. So simple & good! |
